LOADED - PASSIE VOOR BOARDS
Passie voor Boards, dat is waar Loaded voor staat en hiermee zijn ze in de wereld van longboarden gestapt. Skateboarden was niet genoeg meer voor een groep maffe jongens uit Culver City, California. Daarom besloten ze midden jaren ’90 een board te maken dat het gevoel van het surfen en snowboarden verbindt. Er moest een mix van surf- en snowboard op vier wielen komen.
Loaded is begonnen door op ieder mogelijk stuk hout trucks en wielen te zetten, om zo te experimenteren wat het beste materiaal en bouwmethode was. Ook oude snowboards werden hierbij niet gespaard. Beetje bij beetje werden de board rijbaar en zo is in september 2000 Loaded Boards ontstaan. In juni 2002 brachten ze dan ook hun eerste board op de markt, de Loaded Vanguard. Dit was het begin van een succesverhaal. Inmiddels is Loaded niet meer weg te denken uit de longboard scene.
